STRANGERS AND PAINTERS
by John Buckley McQuaid
If I were to paint you
I'd paint you in blue
And that would be you
Painted in blue
If I were to paint you
There'd be a moon
A great big old moon
Shining on you
There was this stranger
Someone I knew
Who promised to paint me
Paint me in blue
Love isn't easy
We seek and we find
Strangers and Painters
That leave us behind
Do you still remember Love ?
