Live not for the one that you love,
But for the one who will love you in Return.
What does this mean?
It means that not every person is meant to be with you
And you aren't meant to be with every person.
Sometimes you loving someone just isn't enough.
Sometimes no matter how much you want to fight to keep it alive
You just can't.
You have to let things go sometimes
Because no matter how much you love that person,
No matter how much you try and care,
If they won't love you as much as you love them
Then it isn't worth it.
So talk to the one that you love
Hold them in your arms and allow your love to grow.
Let the honeymoon phase of the relationship last forever.
Let you happiness ravage your entire being.
Because if you don't,
If you falter at all,
Then your partner might think that you don't care as much for them
As they do for you.
So live your life to the fullest.
Live not for the one that you love!
But for the one who will love you in Return!
This poem is dedicated to all of those
who have tried to make things work when there was no hope.
Please know that even if they don't care about you
as much anymore, that it isn't the end.
There are other people out in the world that can love you
in the way that you need to be loved and cared about.
I am a true testament of that.
If you look hard enough you will find
that one person that makes you smile brighter than every before.
But make sure you do the same in return for them.
