ESCAPING - by Jimmy D. Freeman

 ESCAPING

by Jimmy D. Freeman

From the breath of my being,
And the depths of my soul,
I am flooded with feeling,
Passion and love, warmth and cold.

I'm hurting inside,
For I'm lost and confused,
I try to escape it,
I hate feeling used.

I feel incomplete,
And just the same all finished,
Because it's my friends,
The love does diminish.

I can't go on forever,
Living this way,
But I still search for that love,
Each and every day.
