MY SONG - by Neelam Dadhwal - India

MY    SONG
by Neelam Dadhwal -  India
My soul dances
at the dawn
the myriad colors of the sky,
the wingspan of birds,
floating boats and
the paddling ducks,
when the light breaks through
a Peepal tree
the manifold ripples
in my body
set in motion,
my ear listening
to the grass song
from where the buds
too are grown,
the distant hills call
my name,
a tadpole of me
beneath the waters
has too a life,
I return back with
a song, my song.
