The
Jixuehi stone - a stone of the color of the blood of a chicken is
mined in the Changhua settlement in the Lin'an city county in Hangzhou -
Zhejiang province, Eastern China . It belongs to the category of
precious stones. The stone received such a red hue due to the cinnabar,
which is included in its composition. It is widely used for making seals
and figurines. In 2008, the Jixueshi stone was included in the list of
the second group of objects of intangible cultural heritage of national
importance, and in 2018 - in the national list of the first group of
objects of the revival of traditional art.
