Orestes Bouzón was born in Havana, Cuba, 20 February 1963. Painting has been a natural form of expression from youth to Bouzón.
As a toddler, Bouzón better articulating their feelings on paper and began her life revolved around their visions. Bouzón was accepted at the College of Saint Alexander of Arts in 1980. While attending Saint Alexander, Bouzón began to see beauty in life and art have developed a sensitive, but dramatic style.
His ability to capture light through the use of vibrant colors and express different moods and feelings in their works is extraordinary.
In 1994, Bouzón decided to leave the island. His journey took him to the United States Naval Base at Guantanamo.
Bouzón now resides in Miami, Florida. His paintings have been recognized throughout Latin America and the Caribbean islands and in the United States.
